Health & Safety Policy

At Fleetwood Metal Industries safety is everyone's responsibility. Safety starts with planning and continues through purchasing, manufacturing and maintenance.

As an employer, Fleetwood Metal Industries is vitally interested in the health and safety of all personnel. Management is committed to taking every reasonable precaution to protect workers from occupational injuries and illnesses. This will be achieved through communication and a commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of the Health & Safety program. This will ensure injuries and illnesses are prevented and greatly reduced.

Supervisors will be held accountable for the health and safety of all workers under their supervision.

All supervisors will ensure that machinery and equipment are maintained; personal protective equipment is used correctly and safe operating procedures are strictly adhered to. Workers will receive adequate training in their respective work tasks to protect their health and safety.

Individual employees will be responsible to work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures, use the protective equipment pro vided and report any injury, hazard or dangerous situation to their supervisor immediately.

All visitors including contractors are expected to comply with this policy and conduct themselves in a manner that promotes safe working conditions for all.

It is in the best interest of all parties to consider health and safety in all aspects of their daily rout ine both on and off the job. Together Everyone Achieves More.
